WHY IS LEE CHEUK-YAN, A POLITICIAN FROM HONG KONG INTERESTED IN SINGAPORE SMRT BUS STRIKES?

lee-cheuk-yan-hkctu-jolovan-wham

The ongoing tension in Hong Kong between pro-democracy group and HKSAR government over the future administration of Hong Kong is partly sustained by Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Union(HKCTU), an independent union movement in Hong Kong.

Singaporeans are not aware that the Secretary-General of HKCTU, Mr Lee Cheuk-Yan, once led a protest in Singapore Consulate in Hong Kong in December 2012. That protest demanded Singapore government for the immediate release of the SMRT bus drivers who were involved in the strike in November 2012.

Lee is now being accused of being funded by International Labor Solidarity, an organization under National Endowment for Democracy (NED). It is open knowledge that NED receives its funding from U.S Department of State.

Jolovan Wham managed to instigate Panasonic factory workers to gather for a sit-in protest outside Ministry of Manpower in 2012, and he was actively involved in “fighting” for the rights of SMRT bus drivers who were involved in the illegal protest.

Why is Lee, a Hong Konger and a politician interested in SMRT bus strikes?

What is the connection between Wham and Lee and SDP and the State Department of United States?

Yahoo Singapore Reporter Jeanette Tan did not verify news

YAHOO SINGAPORE JEANETTE TAN DID NOT VERIFY NEWS

World Class “Journalism” by Yahoo Singapore “reporter” Jeanette Tan, NTU WKWSCI grad in 2011 who can’t be bothered to verify details with Ministry of Manpower.

The Opposition fan boys, especially SDP fan boys who support their political party’s manifesto of Protests and Strikes have failed to understand the flip-flopping of the SMRT strikers and purposely ignore MOM’s repeated statements on the matter. Whatever it is related to the PAP, they just hantam.

If you recall, the SMRT strikers have almost immediate access to legal counsel, lodging and many forms of support after the November 2012 strikes and coincidentally, these were all facilitated and supported by SDP-linked people & SDP members (Jolovan Wham, HOME, TWC2, Alex Au, etc). The SDP treasurer, in his article “You can resigned and go to SBS” which was published after the November 2011 strikes has revealed that they (TOC, SDP) are aware of the SMRT PRC drivers’ requests since September 2012

Yahoo Singapore’s Standard of Journalism

YAHOO SINGAPORE JEANETTE TAN SUPPORTS HER EX-PROFESSOR CHERIAN GEORGE

Yahoo Singapore strikes again. Why can’t Yahoo Singapore “professional journalists” verify with Ministry of Manpower before running any articles? The 2 articles in question were written by Yahoo “journalist” Jeanette Tan. Are they going for sensationalism? How many times have they done so? Is it on purpose to gain readership? Afterall, there is tough competition out there. Yahoo Singapore is fighting with TRS, TOC, TRE, Straits Times, Today Online, Channel News Asia etc etc etc for readership. Anyway, Jeanette Tan graduated from NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information in 2011. What kind of “professional journalism” is this? No wonder a NTU Journalism Professor is having a difficult time….

Btw, the gentleman on the bottom right is Remy Choo Zheng Xi. He is a lawyer and he defended the leader of the SMRT strikes He Jun Ling. Remy Choo is concidentally, editor of TOC too.

SDP’s Jolovan Wham

SDP JOLOVAN WHAM INSTIGATED STRIKES

SDP’s Jolovan Wham has admitted to TRE that he had instigated Panasonic PRC Workers to protest outside MOM building in June last year. He has told TRE “These workers were protesting by staging a sit in outside the Ministry building, and were certainly not sitting around to wait their turn to lodge complaints. I know this because I was involved in this case.” [1]

Jolovan Wham is the Executive Director of HOME, a migrant worker help group. His SDP treasurer, Vincent Wijeysingha is a former director of TWC2, yet another migrant worker help group. TWC2 is assisting the 4 PRC SMRT drivers charged for instigating illegal strike.

Now Jolovan Wham is planning a protest in Hong Kong to show support for the SMRT PRC drivers? He has 40,000 RenMinBi to sponsor accomodation and air tickets for protest participants? It is not surprising lah because his SDP chief Chee Soon Juan has always speak badly about Singapore infront of foreigners. Jolovan Wham is learning the ropes from Chee…

Question: TWC2’s current *treasurer Alex Au*, a SDP member/supporter/activist. SDP’s current *treasurer Vincent Wijeysingha* is former TWC2 director. Now Jolovan has 40,000 RMB to support protesters to protest in Hong Kong for the SMRT PRC drivers….. Are these concidences?

Question: Did Jolovan Wham play any role in the SMRT PRC strikes last year? He has instigated protest outside MOM previously. Remember Vincent Wijeysingha had said in a Facebook note that he and SDP are aware of the issues the SMRT PRC drivers faced before the SMRT PRC drivers “striked” in November 2012? [2] Somehow, Vincent Wijeysingha, Jolovan Wham, Alex Au, SDP, TWC2, HOME are closely related.

[2] http://therealsingapore.com/content/“you-can-resign-and-go-sbs”-drivers-were-told “The reason I am acquainted with this sequence of events, which SMRT and the Manpower Ministry has pretended didn’t come to pass and on which the mainstream press has dutifully kept silent, is because the SDP’s Community Service Unit was involved with some of the workers”

(Vincent had removed his Facebook note ““YOU CAN RESIGN AND GO TO SBS,” THE DRIVERS WERE TOLD” due to baseless accusations he made against Dr Vasoo.)

What’s the relationship between these politicians and migrant help groups?

WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SDP VINCENT WIJEYSINGHA AND OTHER GAYS

What’s the relationship between these politicians/political party and migrant help groups?

(1) SDP – Vincent Wijeysingha
(2) HOME – Jolovan Wham
(3) TWC2 – Vincent Wijeysingha, Alex Au, Russell Heng

Strikes Demonstrations Protests.

SINGAPORE DEMOCRATIC PARTY PROTEST PARTY

“The PRC SMRT Bus drivers who complaint of different salary scales and poor paid-for living conditions went on strike recently. Of course, thanks to the good folks who have pointed out that the dormitory’s management has repeatedly reminded the PRC Bus drivers to keep their living conditions clean but fell on deaf ears. It was reported that the female drivers’ dormitory is in ideal conditions but the male drivers’ are not. The pest-busters who fumigated the dormintory have remarked: “IT WAS NOT AS DIRTY AS WE HAD EXPECTED, NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY” [1]. The PRC workers are the underdogs so generally there will be sympathy towards them.

How come this opposition party never extend help to these SMRT PRC workers who went on strike? While this opposition party supported the Burmese in the past? Double standards? Or PRC workers are lesser humans in their eyes. Wait..Burmese has iron lady Auung San Suu Kyi. No wonder must support? Anyway, they are busy with asking for donations, party open house, as usual lah…[2][3]

It doesn’t take any political scientists or political commentators to point out that there are dire social and economical consequences in the event of disruption of essential services in the event of a “strike”, “protest”, “peaceful assembly”, “civil disobedience” (whatever you call it lah…). But one opposition party insists on those ideals. They enjoy looking at social disorder and chaos? For what? Political gains? Half a year ago, a member linked to this opposition party instigated a group of PRC construction workers to protest outside Ministry of Manpower [4]…..

Jolovan Wham, SDP and Panasonic Strikes

SDP JOLOVAN WHAM INSTIGATE PANASONIC PROTEST

Things simply spin around SDP.

1. I saw a June 2012 article in TRE [1] where Jolovan Wham was mentioned. Wham admitted he instigated and supported the PRC foreign workers to protest outside Manpower Ministry? Fast forward to October 2012, TOC is now quarreling with Manpower Ministry over the issues of Panasonic PRC foreign workers. But, wasn’t Jolovan Wham who first made noise about this Panasonic PRC workers issue? Why now suddeny become TOC’s problem? It is now TOC’s turn for the glory and limelight?

2. And everyone knows TOC is part of SDP

3. Jolovan Wham uploaded a SDP logo as his profile picture before GE2011 cooling off day.

4. Jolovan Wham and SDP CEC member Vincent Wijeysingha goes to airport together to send off a pretty lady? Great comradeship.

It’s all about SDP. They are always needy for attention and sympathy?
